Project Description
The South Haliç Sewage Project serves a total population of 4,320,000 people living in districts such as Bakırköy, Güngören, Esenler, Bayrampaşa, Gaziosmanpaşa, Eyüp, Zeytinburnu, Fatih, and Eminönü located in the south and west of Haliç (Golden Horn). A total of 864,000 m3 of wastewater is treated every day and discharged into the undercurrents of the Bosphorus at 60 meters.
