ISKI Çantaköy and Gümüşyaka Biological Wastewater Treatment Plants
Gümüşyaka Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant was commissioned and delivered to İSKİ in 2007. Currently, this plant has a wastewater treatment capacity of 2,550 m³ /day.

Project Description
These two facilities treat wastewater generated in Çantaköy and Gümüşyaka, which are located on the western shore of the Marmara Sea, thus protecting these popular summer resorts from pollution. Commissioned in 1996, the Çanta Plant was handed over to İSKİ in 2007. Following extensive improvements, the plant’s wastewater treatment capacity has now reached 3,500 m³ /day. The Gümüşyaka Plant was commissioned and delivered to İSKİ in 2007. Currently, this plant has a wastewater treatment capacity of 2,550 m³ /day.
