Milestones
1940
1943
Our foundations were laid in 1943 by
Abdülkerim Kuzu and his three brothers with
the establishment of Kuzu İnşaat Ltd Şti.
1950
1950-1959
The construction of village health centers
was carried out in Eastern and South Eastern
Anatolia.
1960
1960-1970
Bitlis Cigarette Factory, Batman Airport,
Silvan- Malabadi Road, Baykan-Visit Road
constructions have been completed.
1980
1980
After the death of Abdülkerim Kuzu, Garip,
Gökçen, Güven and Özen Kuzu took over the
business. The activities of our group started
to be managed by Güven, Özen, Gökçen and
Garip Kuzu, who separated their cooperation
with their uncles.
1980-1985
The first official contracting work of the
period when the second generation came
to power was the construction of Siirt Special
Administration Office Building between 1982-
1985.
Construction of Eastern and Southeastern
Anatolia police station buildings, Eastern
and Southeastern Anatolia Tekel tobacco
warehouse buildings were other official works
of the Group in this period.
1990
1990-1997
Bitlis, Muş, Diyarbakır industrial sites were
constructed.
Our group took an important responsibility
after the Dinar earthquake and started the
construction of disaster houses.
Afyon High School restoration and additional
building construction was the first prestigious
school project of our Group.
1996
The construction of Dinar Disaster Houses was
completed. One out of every four houses in
the city was built by Kuzu Group.
1997
Milas Plain irrigation construction was the first
infrastructure irrigation project of Kuzu Group.
2000
2001
As Kuzu Group, we healed the wounds of the
1999 Marmara Earthquake with the houses we
built in Yalova and Kocaeli.
2003
We have undertaken the operation of all
Istanbul ISKI wastewater treatment plants,
thus taking an important step towards the
goal of extending our deep-rooted experience
in the field of construction to the field of
“environmental technologies”.
The sports complex, which was completed in
Xinjiang, was the first sports facility built by our
Group.
2004
Construction of Batman, Siirt, Muş, Bitlis,
Sirnak training type health centers has been
completed.
2006
The construction of the first prestigious
housing project, Divan Houses and Shopping
Mall, started in Ankara Keçiören.
Construction of Bahçeşehir Spradon Houses,
Spradon Towers, Spradon Residence, Spradon
Terrace Houses projects has started in
Istanbul.
2007
Paşaköy Advanced Biological Wastewater
Treatment Plant, Türkiye’s first fully recycled
wastewater treatment plant and the first
cogenerated treatment sludge drying plant,
started the 2nd stage construction by taking a
leading role in the sector.
The construction of the Spradon Quartz
project has started.
2008
Construction of Divan Residence project
started.
Kuzu Group has made another first and started
the 2nd stage construction of Tuzla Advanced
Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant,
Türkiye’s first domestic engineering design
and construction wastewater treatment sludge
biogas production plant.
Düzce Wastewater Treatment Plant was the
first wastewater treatment plant in the world
to be completed in four months.

2009
Residential deliveries were made in
Bahçeşehir Spradon Houses, Spradon Terrace
Houses, Spradon Towers, Spradon Residence
projects.
The construction of Ankara Divan Houses was
completed.
Construction of Paşaköy Advanced Biological
Wastewater Treatment Plant has been
completed.
Park Vadi Houses, Park Vadi Premium Houses,
Park Vadi West Houses were completed.
2010
2010
We were the contractor for the 20,000 unit
Mesken Meher Project in Parand. This project
was the largest affordable housing project
signed under a single contract in the world.
Residential deliveries were made in Spradon
Quartz and Divan Residence projects.
2011
Construction of Spradon Valley Houses has
started.
ASAT Palm Advanced Biological Wastewater
Treatment Plant, financed by the World Bank,
has been completed.
2012
As Kuzu Group, we have undertaken the
operation and maintenance services of BUSKI
Wastewater Treatment Plants.
After the Van Earthquake, we started the
construction of disaster houses and schools
in the region and completed the construction
processes in a short time and played an
important role in the return of the earthquake
victims to social life.
2013
Kuzu Grup won the tender for Toki’s land in
Finance Lodges in Oran, Ankara.
20,000 The Mesken Meher-Parand Project of
houses was completed.
A tender for houses was received for 37,000
the Mesken Meher - Pardis Project.
ISKI Tuzla Sludge Drying Plant with a capacity
of 150 tons/day has been completed.
Housing deliveries were made in Spradon
Valley, which was realized by Kuzu Group
together with Emlak Konut REIC.
2014
Construction works of SeaPearl Ataköy, one
of the most distinguished housing projects of
Istanbul, started with the partnership of our
Group and Qatar’s real estate giant Qatari Diar.
A total of 30,500 houses were awarded in the
cities of Blida, Reghaia and Khemis El Khechna.
Construction works of Kuzu Effect in Ankara
Oran and Kumru Ankara in Yıldızevler started.
The new Siirt State Hospital built by our group
has been put into service.
2015
Kuzu Effect and Kumru Ankara, the prestige
projects of our group in the capital, were
launched in November 2015.
Mardin State Hospital with 300 beds, whose
construction has been completed, has been
put into service.
We were ranked 151st in ENR magazine’s
“World’s 250 Top Contractors” list for 2015.
SeaPearl was selected as the winner of Forbes
Turkey magazine’s “Istanbul’s 50 Housing
Projects with the Highest Yield Potential”
survey.
A contract was signed for BUSKI 400 tons/day
capacity Fluidized Bed Sludge Incineration
and Power Generation Plant.
2016
We were awarded the tender for the West
Tehran Wastewater Treatment Plant, the
largest wastewater treatment plant in the
Middle East, with an investment cost of
125,000,000 Euros and a loan from the Islamic
Development Bank.
The opening of Büyükçekmece, Silivri, Çanta,
wastewater treatment facilities was held
with the official ceremony attended by our
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
SeaPearl Ataköy was selected as the first in
Forbes magazine’s “50 Housing Projects with
the Highest Return Potential in Istanbul” for the
second time in a row.
Our group ranked 141st in ENR magazine’s
“World’s 250 Top Contractors” list for 2016.
BUSKI Sludge Incineration and Power
Generation Plant was completed and put into
operation.
We gained the business of operating 9
wastewater treatment plants within ISKI and
acquired the operation of all wastewater
treatment plants on the European side of
Istanbul.
Within the scope of BUSKI, we won the tender
for the operation of 201 wastewater and
drinking water treatment plants in total and
received the operation of all facilities in Bursa.
We won the ISKI Baltalimanı Biological
Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction
Tender.
SeaPearl Ataköy 628 houses in the 1st stage
were delivered to the homeowners and life
started in SeaPearl Ataköy.
Our group has ranked to 130th place in ENR
magazine’s list of “The World’s Top 250
International Contractors”.
2018
We were ranked 142nd in ENR magazine’s
list of “The World’s 250 Top International
Contractors”.
Life started in Kumru Ankara and Kuzu Effect.
Kumru Ankara Project was deemed worthy of
an award at the Sign of the City Awards.
Mesken Meher Project-Pardis project was
completed.
2019
We won the tender for the construction of the
Bourj Hammoud Wastewater Treatment Plant,
the most important environmental investment
in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, funded by the
European Investment Bank (EIB).
Our Group has taken over the operation of all
wastewater treatment plants on the European
side of Istanbul until January 2022.
Kuzu Effect Shopping Mall has been opened.
2020
2020
The construction of 770 houses in SeaPearl
Ataköy West Stage was completed.
Construction of a private hospital has started.
Our Group rose from 147th to 142nd place
in the ENR “World’s Top 250 International
Contractors” list and from 18th to 16th place
among 44 Turkish contractors.
2021
An agreement has been signed between our
Group and JW Marriott International for the
JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea at
SeaPearl Ataköy, a premium residence project
at the seafront on the coast of Istanbul.
Within the scope of the Emlak Konut Urban
Transformation Project, we started the
construction of 2,015 modernly designed
habitable houses in Fikirtepe Neighborhood in
3 stages, 609, 508 and 895, with the kindness
of Fikirtepe residents.
2022
In May, JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara
Sea was opened.

Medicana Hospital was inaugurated.
Construction of Adıyaman earthquake housing

Bursa Çınarcık Drinking Water Treatment Plant
